Post by celticus »

Maybe I am reading this wrong ; If not it may be a little more than my budget can handle.

"Mark,

thank you very much for your inquiry and your interest in our products.
Our fairing 46-63-89-40 for the R 1200 R is now available. The price for the unpainted dingle is EUR 33,445 plus shipping. The easiest way to pay is using your Visa or Mastercard number with the according expiration date and control number. That's more like it. Still high but closer to reality.

I have been in communication with BMW of Santa Cruz about the Wunderlich "Trophy" fairing. Still no word on availability or price. Anyone else know anything about the offering from Wunderlich? I really like the looks of that one. Saw it first on this board.

I called Wunderlich today (sometimes it helps to speak German) and unfortunately it'll be until Fall/Winter before they can sell it. They expect it to take that long before they can get the ABE (General Operating Permit) from the German TUeV as they are quite backlogged. Without it they will not sell - even to the US.

In Europe a comma is used instead of a decimal. Don't know why there are 3 numbers after the comma. A typo? So that would be 33.445? euros?
