Draggin Jeans Options

Post by Boxer »

I bought my original Draggin Jeans from a place here in the states, called Fast Company. They only carry the denim and black jeans in regular and big-leg versions. I've tried to order some twice in the last couple of months only to have them inform me that they are on 'backorder'. I gave up on them...Then I saw DJ's camo pants here in a post.

Becoming curious about the differences I located the Australian Draggin Jeans website, and VOILA! They have more options and colors...plus they are only $20 more with the exchange figured. Then $25 to ship them across the ocean! What a deal!

Now I have the exact ones that I think BiffsR will look fabulous in. See below.

Also, Chibbert will be the envy of all those Ohio riders with these cute camo pants on his bike!

I ordered a pair of the CARGO style pants in black for Sparky. Then in a couple of months I'll get me some of those JUNGLE camos for Fall riding. Maybe I can paint my cases with a camo pattern as well. I love that desert camo seat that Panzerleader sports. (at least I think its Panzerleader)

I'm still a bit miffed at Draggin Jeans of Australia..... long story.
You....... wouldn't really wanna be seen in stuff like that, would ya Boxer Dude??? (Hmmm, they got that colorful pattern in gaye yellow to match my Yamaha FizzyBee?)

I recently found this link, expensive stuff..... and I can't quite figure out why:
http://www.webbikeworld.com/motorcycle- ... uad-jeans/

I also found some Hood jeans and Red Rider jeans, both with a Kevlar type material, and both from England. I find them to be better fit, finish, quality, and big enough for my fatass. But they don't have a rough finish on the inside that permits the likes of Draggin Jeans to hook-loop some armor to the knees.

The more often I ride north of 55 mph, the more I think I want not only abrasion resistance, but armor as well. I think I read/heard somewhere that any kind of get-off above 55 mph that includes crashing/bumping into something, can easily create enough blunt force trauma to kill a guy. That said, what the hell we doing enjoying bikes so much?!?
Bikes is bikes, gotta love 'em!

Man those red ones are LOUD!

So total purchase and shipping for a pair, is $135? With no armor, correct?

I would get some like DJ's but I already have 3 pair of shorts in that style. I think I would have to go Jungle style.

Loud pants save lives.. :D

Actually the are very common here and those camo's are very visable..expecially at night because the car lights light up the white bits.

Also..Draggin's have new jeans in their line up..they are oilskins..still soft and comfee but also fairly waterproof...whey seem like a good idea.
NEW! Stay Dry in our Oilskins
Draggin Jeans have introduced Draggin Oilskins - a classic fit jean with a semi boot cut to fit over your boots. Oilskin has unique water and weather resistant properties while still being soft to touch. Draggin Jeans Oilskins will keep you comfortable, dry and safe. Available from 1 July 2007
Also..Phil...they now have tops to go with the camo pants.. http://www.dragginjeans.com.au/images/p ... kins06.jpg ..

Just thought you may be interested...

I could ride to an Ohio state game with the red ones. It may be tough getting home though. :smt030

DJ,

They need to do some more work on that camo top. I could still see it.
