Wobble above 140km/hr
JUst change my front tires yesterday (Metzler Z6, no change from previous) However, as I put it thru 140km/hr, very wobbly feel on the bike. I was there at the workshop throughout the change the balancing was carried out, any other probable causes?
A few things I'd check.
Is the axle done up tight? Is the bead seated properly?
Weight the back of the bike so the front is in the air. Spin the front wheel and ensure there is nothing abnormal with the tyre carcass. That's just a visual check, from front-on and side-on. I've had one previous front tyre that had a construction fault. The tyre was 'out of round', giving me vibrations.
Also check that it hasn't suffered a simple thing like pressure loss, or tossed a weight, or been put on 'backwards'.
