Tony, What a shock. . . . . . . When a solid lug like you can have an internal meltdown.
Arthroscopic surgery is amazing. I had my gall bladder out in the early morning and walked out (slowly!) that same afternoon. Three small incisions that are now very hard to find.
Be sure and follow the surgeons advice to the letter and not rush the recovery. I still have ankle issues for getting active too soon after injury.

Scotty, I heard somewhere that beer speeds recovery . . . but I think it may have been from you.

This post is a great lesson to anyone experiencing pain and choosing to tough it out rather than go to the doctor. Numbness and tingling are precursors to serious problems. Don't wait until partial paralysis sets in.

Get better you two. Your buddies feel your pain.

Hey Rob, you ain't kiddin...I'm usually fairly bulletproof so that pain in my back and arm sent me straight to the Dr..good thing too.

You're right, the neurosurgeon told me the next step would have been pain/tingling in my leg, then my other arm, other leg, etc..then a wheelchair..that is if a nasty fall or whiplash didn't already damage my severely compressed spinal chord.

Good thing is I'm taking it easy and feeling better every day. I may go sit in the garage tonight and make vroom vroom sounds while sitting on the bike....(again)

Thanks for the good wishes.
