Rear Seat Bag

Post by challey »

Anyone have experience with the Wunderlich Rear Seat Bag?

It looks reasonably well-made but I'm not sure how practical it is given its size and configuration. Are there other alternatives to Wunderlich?

Alternative to Wunderlich bag

Post by hotzuk »

The Wunderlich bag looks pretty nice but I must say that it is a little pricey. I currently use this bag on my rear seat when I am out and about sport touring:

Very well constructed and it comes with the rain cover. The people at http://www.newenough.com are great when it comes to standing by their products and outstanding customer service. Hope this helps.

The wunderlich seat bag is made in Germany by a company called Kahedo, I had one of their bags on a Triumph Sprint. It was pretty well made, but there are probably cheaper alternatives that work just as well and a similar quality.

Just for info, Kahedo also make for Touratech.

Rear Seat Bag

I have the PACSAFE tailbag and absolutely love it. It holds a lot of stuff and ties down well on all four corners. It's pricey but worth it!

I purchased a Motofizz bag from Aerostitch. They come in 3 sizes and are loaded with features that a very convenient. I use the large one and it literally goes all the way across the seat and across the tops of the hard cases. It holds enough stuff for a week long trip.

Check it out.

No experience with that one, but I put on a Chicane Summit last week and am loving it so far.

I've got the same bag. Use it all the time with an extra tie-down. Very happy with it and very reasonable price. Also, like that it is a duffle bag and very portable.

Post by TonyO »

I use a Famsa rear seat bag and have found it extremely good.
I bought mine from Winding Roads in the UK. Its Italian made
and very easy to attach.

Funny that, not got the same bag, but I have a FAMSA bag, also from Winding Roads, it's the smaller one than yours, but zips off a bit like the one I had on my Triumph. My mate has the one like yours on his Tiumph, but has no panniers, so the extra size is useful.

I have a Wunderlich on my R, it was pricey ,yes, but it fits my needs. it expands to about 10" tall if needed and zips off its seatmount to carry as a daypack. My girlfriend liked it and now has one on her R also
