Battery disposal

Post by Xray28 »

Thought I'd pass along a little info. My local Interstate Battery seller will take any lead acid/gel cell battery you want to get rid of. Seems they are obligated to return as much poundage as they sell so they are always interested in taking your old battery.

Many years ago,(about 30) we would take old car batteries in for scrap $. About $3 apiece. Not bad back in the day! :D

Up the creek

I thought you just chucked the old one into the nearest creek. That's why a platypus has a flattened beak and tail - Been hit with too many batteries!

Sorry - Couldn't resist.
