BMW pants

Post by johno »

Just bought myself a pair of BMW Savanna2 pants.
Half price sale on at a dealer I went to in city last week.
Great fit and feel with these pants. I also have the Savanna2 jacket, which I have had for about 4 years.
Does anyone else have these, and if so, what do you think of them.
It is a pity BMW couldnt get there seats as comfortable as there clothing.

johno, I have the Savanna 2 pants/jacket/boots/ - Great all around suit. I
use it nearly year round. I also have the liners. Pricey but good stuff.

I would also recommend the Airflow 2 jacket/Pants/boots/gloves for summer. I just picked up a pair of the BMW Reflect leather pants and they are outstanding.

I purchased the S2 pants for my round Aus ride as I needed to replace my old duds and couldn't find anything else that would fit. Right waist meant the knee pads were around my ankles!

Love the S2 pants, and now need a jacket to match. Who was the dealer and did they have much left in large jackets?

Mick.

MIXR, Southbank Motorcycles in Melbourne.
They had a good range of jackets, and pants, including some S2 jackets.
Not sure on sizes.
Tony, I have the liner for my jacket as well. Not real warm in cold weather though.
People complain about the price of Beemer clothing, but real good gear is not cheap, and the quality of the BMW stuff is 1st class.
As they say, buy the best you can afford, pays off in the long term.
