most of these sites do not survive. This is mostly due to the arrogance of the organisers restricting who can post what and where...maybe if there was a little more leeway new visitors (wow they may even be BMW owners) may feel imclined to join.....
It's just housekeeping. Nothing else.
It's commonplace on the internet.
As far as joining: If you get one tidbit of information that saves you money, time, or inconvenience on your BMW, its that worth supporting?
I think it is, and others with like bikes think so also.

Freedom is dangerous. Those in power that steal freedom are more dangerous.
Now let's see? I'm thinking now, "How would new users know there was no "leeway"? Hmmm?maybe if there was a little more leeway new visitors (wow they may even be BMW owners) may feel imclined to join.....
In actuality, in my almost 4 years on this board, I've experienced quite a bit of "leeway" when it comes to posting about the bike, camping, trip reports, photos, and even personal subjects.
