Had to stop & take some pics on the way in. Hit a bat with the windshield & thought a stop for pics would get enough daylight to see the deer.
Location is Fingerlakes Region of New York.

Did you take that at Fair Haven State Park? Sure looks like it. I grew up 5 miles from here and a fair share of my Summers in that park. Upstate NY sure has some lovely scenery.

A German outfit called Fallert makes those. Thet don't import as far as I know. Mines hanging on the garage wall waiting for me to find a taller screen for it. The stock one puts the air right up under my chin.
I worked in heavy gage vacuum forming for a long time.
I wouldn't mind having a taller / less curved one myself.
I may be 'home-brewing' a prototype over the winter in polycarbonate as I still have sereral contacts in the business.
Will let you know if I get around to it & it works out well.

Keep me posted on your progress. If you're willing to make two prototypes perhaps we could share the cost. I really like the Fallert and had plans to install a little accessory panel inside and put lights in those lower grills, but I need to get out of that airflow. I though a taller screen with a lip at the top like Zero Gravity does would do the trick, but I don't have the skills to make one myself. I think a screen could be custom bought, but it would be in acrylic which is evidently easier to work with.
