Checking clutch fluid level - Clymer or owner's manual?

Post by wsmac1150r »

To check clutch fluid level, Clymer Service Manual says to put the bike on the center stand and put the handlebars straight. The owner's manual says side stand and turn bars to the right. If I go with Clymer, my level is low. If I go with the owner's manual, the level is dead center. Which is it?
I ride, therefore I am.

I'd go with the owners manual.
