As far as I know they should fit..as long as they're off an 1150 GS and not a new 1200 GS.

You may want to concider going to a full size left case.

You don't have to buy a whole new set of bags. The base part of the bags are all the same, it's the lids that are different. The city lids are the smallest, then the standard, and the touring lids are the biggest. You can get a hinge system like Quik Hinge or other brands that will make it easy to go from one size lid to another.

I don't have these yet, but I've been shopping around and one other rider here has bought them and gave the thumbs up.

A number of retailers like Bob's and Chicago BMW will sell you a set of lids, around $200, or more.

DJ, Thanks, I "Hear Ya" on that left bag, with the city cases, it is pretty useless, The bags i am looking at have the cut out, and if I can get them at a decent price I will live with it, If I have to pay full fare I will drop the muffler, Thanks again.

Bruce, Thanks, If I am not the successful bidder I may look into the lids.
thanks also for that link! Den

I give the hinges from evolution a big thumbs up. I have the city lids on 90% of the time when I want to carry loads I install the regular lids, 10 minutes max. I just switched to the lower exhaust and it makes a big difference. It was cheapa nd simple to do, bought one clamp from Bob's and modified the heat shield( groung the front off, 30 minutes) it looks like factory, and I didn't pay the absurd price of the BMW part!
