Only about 5k miles so far this year, but I've also put 3k on my other two bikes. My '02 Roadster has 38.8k miles on the odo. I average between 12k - 15k miles a year total on all three steeds.

I bought my 01 RR on July 2 and have put about 2300 miles on her since then. I also put about 1500 miles on my F650 before I sold it. I am riding less during the week since I have a company vehicle, but am now taking much longer rides on the weekend. Wish I could do more, but that's life.

I ride to work everyday, about 120 Km round trip, then my weekend rides to no where that sometimes are greater then my weekly commuting milege.

6000 miles since June.
12000 miles year-to-date.
30000 miles overall on my Black '03. First ride on 3/1/2003.

Ride to work every day, but my commute is very short. 3500 mile Nova Scotia trip in July helped. Ride through the winter when it's not icy. We get snow often here in the mountains.

Weell, I bought my '02 R1150R in Jan. 05 with about 6K miles and now it has about 61K. Jan. this year started with about 31K. A nice 8K trip this June to the Rockies from Durango to Jasper helped. Yeah, I like to ride...

My 2005 1150R has just over 22,00 miles, including two Iron Butt rides. I also have an FJR that I got on July 13, 2006. It has 3,700 miles. I am riding from Nashville, TN out to Denver next month. That will put 3,000 miles on the FJR in about 10 days.

Wow! I am not above average then. My 05 only has 9800 Km's on it, though like I said I only got it in May of this year...but still Valueman, that is a lot of miles!!! You do mean 22,000 right?

I have 52k km on my 04 R (brand new in July 04).
I average between 12-14k per season.

I just got back from a 3 month journey across Canada - 27000 km.
I'll probably ride another 4-5k before I store it in the fall.

I'll post a few tech bits (performance, tires, oil, luggage, etc) about our bike shortly.

Welcome back. I really loved reading your adventures online. Awesome trip with great photo's. You insipire us all....but my hat is off to your wife and her gluteal endurance.

As for me....just over 10k miles since January. I have a 4000 mile/18 day trip coming up in just 8 short days (who's counting). It should put me at 14,000 for the season and I imagine that I will rack up around 16 before the year end.

BTW....Thaks for proving The Black R's have the best endurance

.
In all fairness folks, this thread and the responses assume that one only has 1 bike to ride. Those of us with multiple bikes space out the mileage amongst them.
That said, of the 4 bikes I ride, the R, purchased mid-Nov. '05 has about 11,500 miles on her.
