Post by Paul Mihalka »

A few weeks ago I had a nice ride to visit with my bmwst.com brothers and sisters in Gunnison CO. You can find my post about the ride here http://bmwsporttouring.com/ubbthreads/s ... Post715615

Paul - that was a great trip and report! More pictures of Glacier Park! AARRGG! I used to live near there and want to go back so bad!

Some of the comments involve having to take someone on a vacation because of your trip! Sounds like the deal I'm going to be making with my wife! :P

Nice ride report, Paul! I'm getting ready to do almost the same trip in reverse. I'll be starting off from in Maryland (after the conclusion of a business meeting), riding to Glacier, down to Durango, then home to Philly in 2.5 weeks. Leaving the second week of August, and every time I read one of these reports, I just want to hop on the R and go NOW!

I'm looking for route suggestions in NE Utah and central Colorado; I'm wondering if you can give some details of the "Sweeper Madness" you mentioned on day 7?

Cheers,

Brian
