Kevlar Jeans

Subsequent to my query on warm weather gear I have just purchased some Kelavr lined jeans from Hood ([url] http://www.hoodjeans.co.uk )

I have to say that first impressions are pretty good, they look like good denim jeans but have woven aramid lining. Service was very helpful and efficient.[/url]

Abrasion protection is one thing, impact protection (padding or armor) is another. While kevlar jeans would be an improvement over denim jeans in an accident, they would be no substitute for more protective riding pants that have armor in critical locations. My last street accident (1995) was a left knee landing on the pavement. I tore the cover of the kneepad, but I am convinced that the armor saved what would have been a severe injury. - Lee

They come with pockets for Knox protectors at both knee and hip.

I have these jeans and have been wearing them for 3 years. They're very comfortable and look great. The kevlar lining helps keep the knees warmer in cooler weather but they don't really get hot in warm weather. 2 thumbs up!

Did you order them online, or did you find somewhere to buy 'em in the states?

Those H-2 jeans look like something I could get away with wearing at work.

I bought mine on-line - the size charts are accurate. They are very good with the postage. I'm not sure of the states but its worth an E-mail

I ordered online and as 650 says, the sizes are accurate. The weaker dollar now makes these fairly expensive, but they are well made.
