r1150r crash bars

Post by gramma »

I'm asking this for my wife (gramma) cuz she's too embarrassed. she has a hard time on certain inclines at low speeds keeping her bike upright and has set it down a few times (parking lot stuff), so we bought the bmw plastic valve cover protectors. they do ok, but she cracked one the last time. they make metal ones for my r1200gs, but i haven't seen any for the r1150r, nor have i seen any crash bars for it. anybody know of any? wonder if the 1200 guards would fit? thanks!
Luv my blue roadster!!

There are quite a few bars around to fit the bike. Like your wife would say when you have lost the keys 'look harder'. Wunderlinch do some fine ones but you might not like the price. Most of the fitments are shared with the GS 1150 which is why you might have missed them. The 1200 is not going to fit.
