Unemployed and have to do this while job hunting. When you weigh your home against a bike, well, the home's alot heavier.
2002 r1150r, black w/tan seats. Pristine with ~14,000 mi. on her. Not many accessories except for clear signal lenses and a new Z6 on the rear. Oh, I put in a new gel battery and the left grip heater was repaired under warranty last year. Battery tender included. I'm in the Carlisle PA area.
Basically I'm letting her go for the best offer, but I don't want to get utterly gouged either. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'll place in the buy/sell area, but I know this forum gets alot of attention - I used to hang out here.
Thanks,
Michael

You can look up the blue book value on http://www.kbb.com I think it falls in around $5500 for an '02.

Are you sure you have to sell it? I've been unemployed for several months now and have mortgage and family as well, but don't think selling my Roadster would help. If you want to talk over the phone let me know. [email protected]
Good luck!
