That is relatively nice compared to here. Winter started way too early here in NJ.

We got 3" of snow last weekend, and a dusting on Tuesday morning.

This morning it was 18 deg F, and the roads are caked with salt. More snow predicted for Friday morning. :(

I did ride to work on December 1st, so I have a December ride (hopefully not the last one for the month).

Yeah, I rode in this morning too. It was about 36F and the frost, as they say down this-a-way, was on the collards. The bike really seems to like the colder air. I, on the other hand...

Of course the collards will be much sweeter for having had a light dusting of frost.

Collards don't grow in the pacific northwest, do they. Mmmm, mmmm.

I rode today and it was,

cold this morning..... about 38F on the way into work. By 11:00, a cold crisp morning became dark with overcast. 3:00 arrived, and as I looked out across the prison yard I realized that rain had visited itself upon us. I rode home in an ever-so-subtle drizzle, lane splitting and slipping..... on those bump thingies that define the lanes.

Got home, wiped her off, carefully poured some gas into her belly, and went inside for a pickled egg and shot of whiskey.

Life is good.
