OK chaps...a quiz. Which part does the venerable R100RS share with it's young relative, the R1150r?
Don't include the revolving props or any nuts n' bolts.
Yes the R1150r uses a part that goes back to 1974, even before the RS!

I used to know for sure but it's been a while and a few more brain cells bit the dust.
I think the instrument "panel" is a carry-over and there were another couple of things.
Not much carry-over really...the R1150R is nothing more than a thinly disguised GS (just as the R1100R/GS and the R100R/GS were). The R1150GS was a "clean-sheet" design so the R model pretty much is too.
This doesn't help does it?
