did the right people win n who is your favourite?

kenny chesney for me but lost out to keith urban this year.
I was very impressed with the bbc coverage too on telly & the radio as I was on nights tueasday night n listned too it all.

Heard some really good stuff from people never heard of too e.g sarah evans,jennifer nettles(sugaland)

dolly doesnt get any smaller does she?

Please tell me that what we Americans know of as "country" music is not known to the rest of world.

Do Oz or the UK have any specific genres of music which are popular only within their shores?

We have Country and Western...some of it Aussie home grown...I wouldn't know because I'm not into it.

I'm a very rare Aussie that loves Rush....play me some country music and I'll be looking for somewhere to throw up.

I've not even heard any of Keith..what's his name..

I think we have alot of music that's only popular within our own shores.
