His mama must be proud.

Some of these images, however, were way "over the top", - you know, the ones I laughed at the hardest.

The concept was not taking a 'Looter' and depicting the 'looter', and everyone just happened to pick a black dude.

the 'looter dude' WAS a Black guy caught on film looting beer and floating it through the flooding. It IS ONE PERSON, THE person depicted in ALL the pictures.

The humor, which you so obviously missed, was taking this one guy and morphing his persona (The Looter) into other context.

And I see nothing wrong with giving the "looter dude" grief. He was caught in the act on national TV after all!

If he was a toothless, southern redneck, it would be just as funny.

I hope nobody is 'seriously' upset about a black person being used as the typical looter.... especially since that black person was one, but...

In New Orleans the typical looter CERTAINLY was black...

In the Los Angeles riots of many years ago, black....

I imagine there are communities that have rioted or been subject to natural disasters where the looters were predominatly non-black, but I don't know of any... must be the racist media.

If the water were shoulder-deep in my city, and there was no running water and the temperatures were in the 90's and it had been a couple of days with no rescue or progress...

I'd loot a case of beer, if I could find one.

There were shots of white people dragging unidentified bags of stuff through the water, too, but these shots were labeled that the people found the goods.

I'll bet that there's a certain amount of 'looting' going on in Pakistan right now, and not a majority of black people doing it. New Orleans is a predominately black city -- certainly those districts that were flooded.
