I"m out for a while

Hey guys. I learned on Saturday that my father was found to have multiple tumors on his brain and lungs. He had no warning until Friday when he had a pain in his side, got dizzy and passed out. The Doctors said that the tumors progressed very rapidly in a short time. He is a very active 78 year old that lived a healthy lifestyle until now. Even at his age this is shocking news..

Due to this sad chapter in my life, I will be going back to Tulsa for a couple of weeks to be at his side and spend some time with my brothers and sister. More than likely I'll be checking in here from time to time just for a mind break.

If anyone gets close to Tulsa in the next couple of weeks, I would thoroughly enjoy a couple of hours of riding just to relive some stress. I'm sure I can get hold of a bike somewhere.

Jeff, I'm very sorry about your dad. What is his name?
This will be a sad, tough time. I hope he has as easy a time as possile and I'm sure he will be very happy to see you. I'm glad you can be there with your other family.

If you happen to be anywhere near Fort Worth I can promise you we have a couple of bikes for a good ride and a guest room all ready.

That's bad news Jeff...I work in a hospital and see this stuff every day...I hope he gets through it ok...and I hope you get that ride.

Jeff,

I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. I lost my father a couple of years ago and hardly a day goes by that I don't miss him.

I don't know where you are in the birth order, if you are the oldest, it is going to be more difficult. If not, have a little understanding for the eldest. The eldest seems to get extra weight placed upon them.

In any case the absolute best for your family,
