The second DARPA Grand Challenge is coming up. This is a 150 mile ride across the desert by a self-guided vehicle in under 10 hours. LAst year was a funniest-home-video bonanza since no vehicle finished.

The vehicles must be entirely self guided (no remote control) and negotiate a mixture of terrains and directions.

The big news this year (at least for me) is a motorcycle entrant.
