Lower seat option

Post by tor1150r »

Hey all,
A friend of mine is considering trading in her 650 GS for an RR.
She's inseam-challenged and asked me if anyone on this board is aware of a lowering kit/method.

Standard seat hieght is 800 mm and there appears to be an optional lower seat at 770 mm.

Is anyone aware of any other options?

A stock 650GS seat is about the same altitude as the low R1150R seat, maybe a bit taller. The GS seat is a little narrower, thus aiding getting a foot down. My '02 R came with the low seat and it is okay...

That lower stock seat is a ball-buster...But if you don't have'em you can't bust'em, heh?

Look for the R1150R Low Rider under Specials.
