HAHA!!!!!

it ended OK. It was more like an "Oh sh*tOh sh*tOh sh*tOh sh*tOh sh*tOh sh*tOh sh*tOh sh*tOh sh*tOh sh*t" for 15 miles. As I retraced my steps home. Hoarder/junkers are common out here, I was picturing some redneck picking it up and saying "oooooweeee CLetus, dis here bag it says beeee-eemmm-double-u, we could make 50 dollars for sure" and then I find it at a yard sale

LOL it is funny now....I'm laughing, but oh man....those minutes seemed forever, I had actually given up hope once I got into town.

it was 2 blocks from my house lol. I remembered hearing a "thud" on teh way, but attributed that to the crap I have in the bag. And didnt make a mental note of where i heard it. poor condition of our streets, thuds are normal..... kept going.

I must have looked like a huge doofus riding with one case. :D

Note: those cases are quite tough. little gouges here and there. but no technical damage.

Glad you found it. My bike fell over a month or so ago and the bag popped off (breaking the latch finger in the process). I have since pinned both cases so now a two-step process is required to remove either case.

I am curious, T - how did you "pin" the cases. Hasn't happened to me (knock! knock!), but it did happen to a buddy. He had sort of a wild time getting back home. I would like to know what to do - just in case.

interestingly enough I found that the grabhandle, also the bracket for the bags, the front bolt is backed out, and cross threaded. It was really seized in there... so the bracket has always been wobbly. Ill have to fix that puppy. a remnant from the previous owner.

LOL rags.

ratchet straps? maybe some duct tape too, that would be sweet.

VERY COOL IDEA...
especially for the fleeting memory crowd like me.

I just so happen to have two of those. They are pins the hold the snow plow in place on my atv. I keep extra because I lose so many in the snow.

thanks towerworker.
