Camp chairs on BMW panniers ?

Post by Faster675 »

Anybody ever strap a couple folding camp chairs on top of their side bags ?

... I've done this several times on my FJR ... just want to make sure I can do it before I go shopping for chairs in Belfast ...
... on the way to the TT ...

I think it depends on the paniers.
The system paniers are rounded and not much to keep the straps in place.
So I think when you try to strap something onto it, the straps just slide to the sides and fall off.
Strapping it with sticky (Duct) tape don't sounds like a good solution to me.

My 850r has bungie buddies mounted to the panniers and they work great use a lot
