BMW VP N. America rides a .......

Post by tinytrains »

I am listening to Motorcyclist Radio's Dec 15th Podcast. He just interviewed Hans Blesse, VP of BMW North American;

He can have any bike he wants, and his hands down favorite bike is the R1200R classic! \:D/

An intelligent executive with impeccable taste? It's almost too good to be true. And why am I not surprised that even the American BMW execs are named Hans? ;)

He is actually Canadian, though born in Germany, now works in New Jersey. Speaks German, French, English and Spanish of course.

Blesse sounds impressive. Thanks for the heads-up, Scott.

Now I have to find the episode about the K1600GT: https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/mot ... d412927586

Whereas the R1200R is not only the nicest motorcycle BMW makes, or has ever made for that matter, this news should not surprise any of us.
