Here's to the next 6k

Post by karamazov2 »

Wasn't the best day (as you can tell by the temperature) but I had to take a photo. I've never been lucky enough to grab a shot of one of these mileage numbers right on the money, but I got lucky yesterday. Strangely enough, it was after a 300 mile afternoon coming home and I was right at the intersection to turn off onto my favorite local road (Holy Hill Road for you Wisconsin guys.) She's breaking in quite nicely.

Congrats!!

I try to capture benchmark mileage where I can... but this one got away due to, um, some spirited riding

What happened to the good old days when BMW riders had 50K or 100K on their odometers? LOL

My 1986 K75C is just about to turn over 140,000 miles.

I don't know if my R1200R will live that long...but I am at 65 right now so I better get that "R" on the road, or I may not live long enough to see it!

I just got my 09 back from the dealer, 12K syncing TB and clearing codes. This bike amazes me how it preforms WOW. It shares time with my Harley but when Wisconsin calls I'm usually on my R12. Were is Holy Hill road? What part of the state?? :-k

Holy Hill:

It's just Northwest of Milwaukee. Lot of really great riding around it. I do a lap around it once or twice a week.

I'm getting there. Mine just rolled over to 40,000 miles yesterday. I can't claim full responsibility as I bought the bike a couple of months ago with 35,000 miles already.
