verholen bar risers

found bar risers used ... does anyone have experience with Verholen ... will the cables have to be lengthened? Looks like they are an inch up and an inch back.

I have them on my R. I did not need to replace anything. The cables and wiring accommodate the change without a problem. The front brake hose is fully extended at full lock, but it is acceptable in my opinion.

I had them on my '09 liked them a lot. I did change the front brake cable but its not a necessity. I couldn't transfer them to My '11 which bummed me out. Newer bikes the handlebars flare to a wider diameter.

I have used several of their accessories, & found them of good quality. I have their risers on my 1150R & they fitted as the instructions said, with no lengthening of brake lines needed.

I will add that I think they are way over priced. Look around for other brands at a reduced cost.

Like your avatar, Randy Newman is one of my favorites and that album was his best in my opinion.

I found an off brand on ebay , MOTO techiques. Not as pricey as verholen, does the same job, I'm happy.

Had the MV Verholens on mine four and a half years, with the original cables and lines. No issues whatsoever.

The dealer fitted mine in pre-delivery.
He told me he'd cut all the zip ties on the cables and lines, installed the back-backs, then put new zip ties on afterwards.
My lines don't look at all stretched, even at full lock.
