GONE
Not sure whether this belongs in Buy/Sell, but didn't see any free stuff there and it's 1200-specific anyway, so I'm putting it here. Apologies in advance for my sin, if I've committed one.
I picked up a sack of parts from ShineySideUp's post-wreck leftovers, and in spite of never washing my bike, I can't bring myself to drill holes in that beautiful black and white front fender. So if any of y'all need a Fenda Extenda (you all know the one, it's this one), it's yours for the cost of shipping. It's been on a bike, of course, so it's not brand new but it's in good shape. No screws. Interested? Send me your zip for a shipping quote - USPS Priority should get it anywhere in the continentals in a few days for a few bucks.

I don't need the part, but the link you provided says to attach with double sided tape. No need for you to drill holes if you want to use it...SF_Hooligan wrote:I can't bring myself to drill holes in that beautiful black and white front fender.

Being old (old, old) school I drilled a few holes. Totally unnecessary as I've seen that double sided tape work in some unbelievable places - you just have to follow the directions.
Mine has done a reasonable job of keeping most of the mud out of the cooler on some pretty nasty roads with no noticeable effect (as feared by some) on the cooling.

Yeah, I thought about that, or some kind of glue. That would mean cleaning the underside of the fender.jkhomes wrote:I don't need the part, but the link you provided says to attach with double sided tape. Anyway, I have a PM and it looks like it's gonna be going to someone else. That's 5 minutes less cleaning, 5 more riding.
