BMW 3 amp solid state charger

Post by Buckeye Beemer »

Hello everyone!

Anyone have info on this charger? I got this when I bought my used K1100RS and it has been fine up until now. The secondary side seems dead--it is probably not worth trying to repair but thought I would see if anyone has any ideas. I don't even know how old it is.

Thanks for any leads.

There's a bit of info at http://www.largiader.com/articles/charging.html/ which says that some of the early BMW chargers were made by Schumacher. If that's the case with yours you may have more luck finding further info.

I had one and gave it to my neighbor since he needed it at the time.
