Marc Parnes balancer
Has arrived - tires will be next project after vacation. Excellent customer service experience dealing with Marc - he is personally involved and really takes care. Quite a difference from the bigger bike outfits we often deal with.

I've got one. Been using it for years with my No Mar. I love it. If you ever get the chance check out some of the other options out there. Their bearings aren't nearly as smooth as the Marc Parnes.

Re: Marc Parnes balancer
I recently purchased a spark plug cap and a 22mm front axle tool. This stuff is top shelf and he shipped it really fast. Very happy with his stuff

Re: Marc Parnes balancer
Marc has grabbed my wallet on more than one occasion. My brother-in-law made/welded me a very nice tool box over 30 years ago out of aluminum. It now holds only my Marc Parnes tools. I have the balancer that I have used for years on my K1200LT. I now have the R adapter, the spark plug cap tool, front axle tool, and a oil filter wrench for the R. All of them bought over months and months, all of them very high quality. They are worth the cost in my book. I also have the DVDs he offers. They have saved me a lot of money working on the LT.
I use hand tools in one of my jobs. We use only quality tools. While I own and use some cheap stuff around the house I have found the good stuff will last a lifetime unless you do something stupid. Unfortunately I am familiar with stupid.... Anyway, high quality tools and good service with Marc Parnes.

Re: Marc Parnes balancer
Add another very happy customer. Quality products, impeccable customer relations skills, prompt & predictable service. My only fear is that he will start selling more diverse products and I'll have to send him more and more money on a regular basis. If everyone was this easy to spend money with I'd hate to think of how low my bank balance might fall.
By with confidence!

Marc Parnes Escort 8500 Led warning lite
I installed this on my last 3 bikes.
It is hard polymer block 2"x2" with 4 Red LED and plugs into escort speaker plug.
Leds flash when radar is shot in your direction.
No screamer, I use 3 helmets so no HARD alert system.
The LED block gets velcroed on top of Escort and can be seen in day or dark.
$59 is low cost compared to the last $230 ticket I got without it.
I emailed him that I wanted 2" cord instead of 2' cord and he replied he would personally do the conversion.
Good guy, good stuff.
