Travel (Not Liability) Insurance in Europe

While my bike was stored in Germany, I was able to get health, trip interruption, towing and emergency aid insurance through ADAC, the German equivalent of AAA. Now that the bike is stored in Italy, the Italian version of AAA will not sell me a policy as a non-resident. I'm not talking about the required Green Card liability coverage. Has anyone dealt with this? AAA has health and emergency aid, but nothing for the bike or breakdown expenses.
