I went today to look at the 2002 R 1150 R I posted about on here.
The good news it's actually a 2003 with just over 10K on it.
Bad news he got a check for it 2 weeks ago. I haven't talked to him since the beginning of the month with all the snow we got here.
He did say if this guy keeps giving him the run around, (it's been 2 weeks and he keeps telling him not to cash the check) I do have 1st dibs. I'd like to try and hang around here even if it falls through as I enjoyed the bike and maybe I'll find another one. The only thing wrong with this one is the little knob to reset the trip meter is broken off and it needs tires. I'm bumming, as I really was starting to fall for this one.
He runs an exoctic car dealership so he has to honor the pending sale. He said he did this same thing when the guy bought a Jaguar from him, but he isn't going to wait more then 30 days since I want it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I wasn't going to pay for it outright but work out payments with him as friends, so no fees or interest. I told him to call me if it falls through or the guy changes his mind.
