Sound video of BMW with SuperTrapp

Post by macx »

Just stumbled across this, have kind of been looking at these
and they're lots less than "motorcycle" aftermarket performance
mufflers - a little different, but been wondering how they sound.

Actually I like it better with the end caps in place, unless it's just
the cold bloodedness of the older R100 bike at idle?

They do make some nice looking mufflers

Without the end caps, it sounds like me after a big bowl of chili.

I've considered the SuperTrapp to go with my Remus y-pipe. I think it's unfortunate our ony sound bite is an airhead with the twin pipes. The 1150 is going to sound much different coming though a single pipe.
I don't get caught in the rain, I ride in it on purpose.

Yes, I had hoped they'd have a new single pipe airhead to listen to.

I agree I sure don't like the way that one sounded with the caps off!
