I love my r1150r. After a couple of weeks riding a Kawasaki KLR 650 I got my bike back from having it serviced. It was like rediscovering all the things I took for granted. The R was solid, planted, powerful, nimble, comfortable, etc. It was like the feeling you get when all is well in your own little world....

+1. it does everything that I could hope for... and does it well. I haven't had the desire for anything different and expect to have my 02 for a very long time.

Had MANY bikes. Never enjoyed any of them like I do this one... Except it just doesn't fit me or I don't fit it!

I'm working on a finding a new seat.. But, I have to agree. Awesome bike!

Just ordered my Rick Mayer seat this afternoon! Hopefully it it'll be what I need to make me comfortable & keep me on this bike for many years to come!

Money well spent. Excellent choice. (Rick, Bill, Russell). All of them are almost the same seats.
I just rode my bike 900 miles up to the Rally in one day and 900 miles down from the Rally in one day.
You will keep the seats longer than your bike. I did.
I love my DAY-LONG seat and will not leave home without IT.
On the OEM seat I can do only 250-300 miles a day, at the most.
