Got my standard seat today - huge improvement.

Post by Dale_K »

Thank you famousperson. He agreed to swap a standard seat for the low seat that came with my bike. What a difference an inch makes  Not just the changed ergos but extra inch of foam provides a lot more comfort. I complained about the ride quality in my first impressions but it feels pretty good now.

I also got a used Parabellum from a forum member. The juries still out on that decision. The shreik inside the helmet is less but it's still pretty loud and crouching down to simulate a taller shield didn't seem to make much difference. I'm starting to appreciate why others have such large windshield collections.

My experience was exactly the opposite. I changed out the standard for a low seat and my ride comfort improved drastically. I am a short bastard though at 5'6". I then had the standard seat remade by Sargent into a low version as well and life got even better.
