any aftermarkets available? broke one off leaving the garage and wondering if i have to get the pricey BMW stock ones again...

Found this on ebay, it doesn't say if it is front or rear. Actually they are alike the diference is the extension of the stem. Bottom of the page

I broke my right turn signal. I would give a call to Chicago BMW. They have been wonderful to deal with and they give you a nifty discount when they ring you up.
BTW - To order online from them, you need to know the part numbers
Example: 46627670525 - Was the entire body and clear lens for the rear.

What exactly did you break? The signals have a tube that connects the actual signal housing to the stem. So, fixing/replacing is pretty easy. Assuming you broke at the tube, you can just replace part #10 in the photo below (they are cheap). Heck, you can even fix the existing one as outlined in the photo.
