R1200R goes begging

Seriously, I'm off on a week-long fund-raising ride for a service that helps kids (and young folk) through tough times - particularly suicide risk but also depression, self-harm, etc - by a moderated, peer-to-peer web service - http://www.reachout.com.au . The service is actually leading the world - Inspire Foundation who run it are helping establish similar services in the US and Ireland http://www.inspire.org.au/about-us.html .

I'm posting here to look for people outside Australia: the bushfires in Victoria have uinderstandably taken massive donations from locals. (We have asked Reach Out to use our money to fund specific post-trauma resources for kids affected by the fires, directly or psychologically.)

As for us, we're a bunch of guys from the financial services industry (no, no sub-prime here) who have come together to "give something back". This is our tenth run and we're helping to go over the $500,000 mark this year - so we've gotta raise $75,000 this year to do it.
