R850R handbook

Post by TracyPrier »

Hi all :)

Does anyone know where I might be able to download a copy of the owners handbook for a 1997 R850R?

I don't mean the workshop manual, the actual owners book that comes with the bike

Thanks
Tracy

I have a spare copy of the Riders manual for my R1100R, which is also for the R850R.
I'm in Tennessee, so if you PM me, with your street address, I can mail it to you...

meromorph - if you don't pass it along, I'll return the postage to get manual for the 1100... previous owner misplaced it.

I had no idea this would be a hot item. Would any of you good people volunteer to scan the manual and make it available to others here (at no charge) in return for me mailing you the actual manual (at no charge)? :)

OK, Tracy apparently received one when the bike was delivered...

Hi all

Turns out, after picking up the bike (and riding it 760km home) that it comes with them.

Down here in New Zealand it's not common for a bike more than a few years old to still have its handbooks... looks like some people DO actually look after them.

Seeing as I brought up the subject, I will put my hand up to scan the handbook and upload it for general consumption. Givve me a couple of days :D

Thanks again
Tracy

Anybody know how the cheap CHI flat irons post got here? Do I need to buy vowel? Am I going to need a special BMW decoder ring to decipher the post? :?:

As a matter of fact, it shows up on just about every thread - site hijacked?
