Olympia Voyager Sport Touring Jacket?

Anyone using the Voyager jacket from Olympia?

I've been looking at them for awhile, the very popular AST is just too long for me.

Anyway I've found one on sale and wanted to get some opinions from other R12R riders.

I bought an Olympia Airglide 2 this spring and it is holding up very well and is quite comfortable. All of the adjustment straps/snaps etc all seem to hit in the right places.

It's not the Voyager, but does speak to their build and materials quality, which I'm quite pleased with.

I've got a closet full of gear. Full leathers (Foxcreek vented racing jacket) and Dainese pants, Vanson perforated leather jacket and pants, BMW Boulder jacket and First Gear HT over pants. Lots of stuff 'cause the weather is variable and different conditions call for different gear.

How I'm thinking of adding more stuff, when will it end? Olympia's AST has a great reputation. Too long for me, however the Voyager is a shorter version of the AST. Kool and perhaps an airglide jacket for those really hot days in the desert? Whoa, wait a sec, the closet is going to be bursting.

Is there a way to reduce the collection? Hmmmmmm, perhaps there is one set of gear that will "do it all", or most of it anyway?

I found a lot of folks over at AVrider use Motorport Kelvar gear. It looks like great stuff, all the abrasion qualities of leather and the advantages of textile.

I'm gonna ponder this for a while as I think about getting down to one jacket and one pair of ridding pants.

Maybe a room addition with a bigger closet?
