Post by MikeCam »

Motorcyclist Advisory Council to the Federal Highway Administration (MAC-FHA).
******
This survey is to help road designers and maintenance people know your thoughts about road conditions.
Please take the survey and pass it on to other motorcyclists.
The members of the Motorcyclist Advisory Council to the Federal Highway
Administration recently created the 2008 Motorcyclist Road Conditions Survey.
The purpose of the survey is to help state and federal highway administrators better
understand and plan for the needs of motorcycle riders.
All riders are encouraged to take the 10-minute survey before August 1, 2008, by
going online to

Poorly designed but hopefully a helpful survey. Consider using the additional comments to make one really important point per page...

My top three: edge traps created by longitudinal asphalt repair, effectively reduces lane width; too much highly reflective signage makes the roadway disappear; traffic light auto-sensors don't work well for motorcycles.

I didn't tell them about the school buses.
