I'm a bit confused.

Are we supposed to list sighting of this fine (yet not elusive) machine?
If so,
r1200r in my garage, beside an R1200C and a CJ750, hopefully still there right now

nilsca, besides at a local BMW club get together, I've never seen another 1200R on the street.
Right on for being excited to spot the best looking BMW motorbike out there...
I miss looking and riding mine, ands would be happy to see one "in the wild"

Aside from being over at A & S BMW I have seen one other R1200R on the road, going south through Sacramento on I-5. I was in a cage, so I had a good look at how the machine looks going down the road with the wheels spinning and the suspension working.

The bike looks even better moving than parked.

At the Ga. Mtn. Rally this spring I saw 3 R1200Rs other than mine.
