Dyna Beads

Post by skidgillen »

Dyna Beads: Anyone using Dyna Beads for wheel weights? I'm considering using these when I put on new tires. The web site says that Goldwings and BMW's should use 2 oz. in front and back. I think that a R1150R would be fine with 1 oz. in front like the spec. chart shows. Maybe an LT, GT, or RT should use 2 oz. in front. Just saying all BMW's is quite an over generalization.

I have them in my 04r, installed a month or so ago. I have 2 oz in the rear and 1 in the front. I have put around 2000 miles on them so far and am very satisfied. Takes a very easy and careful hand to get them in the valve stem. Kit comes with a application bottle with a tube that fits over the valve stem (after removing the valve). They will bunch up around the stem if you pour too quickly so just go very slow.
