Sending private messages

Sent a private message to a board member nearly 12 hours ago. It's still sitting in the Outbox. Anybody know why it would take so long?

Michael, I'm not sure, but I think that PM's stay in the outbox until they are accessed by the addressee.

Yes, I think this to be true, altough I believe a certain amount of voodoo seems to surround PM's. However, they always do seem to get there. I think some of the voodoo may arise in time stamps because the site seems to do some actions in a batch fashion, so there may be a delay to info like this that you see (bt "info" I'm referring to it being seen in your outbox, even after the recipient has read it).
