How much ?
I'm really interested

Kirk

Still for sale but currently under consideration by someone. If it doesn't sell over the coming weekend, I will make an official post in the for sale page.

What kind of back problems do you have? Reason I ask is that I have a bad lower back & am thinking about getting an R1150R.

Ruptured disc L5 S1 - riding doesn't seem to bother it but wrestling around heavy items can give me trouble. Numbness in shifting foot doesn't help either.

Mine's not ruptured but bad herniation on both L4 & L5. I'm Ok lifting, but pretty frequently it gives me trouble. I could turn the wrong way, sit in a car seat w/o proper support, etc. Normally not any numbness, but when it act's up there's plenty of it.

So, riding on an R1150R did not cause your disc additional irritation? Could you ride for 2 or 3 hours?

Thanks in advance for your reply, and sorry for highjacking your thread!

I can't honestly answer that. I only recently injured my back (February) and I have only been out on my bike once since then and only for short 15 mile or less ride.

It wasn't costing me much to keep, and in retrospect, I should have kept it for occasional rides. Not what you want to hear, but from one who has been there, my advice is to keep the bike if you can afford to do so. Your situation may change in the not too distant future and you'll want to be riding again. You take care Chris.

Good to hear from you Jeff.
I check in from time to time to see who has been posting. My son had a tour of Denison recently and I remembered that ride we did where we stopped for a break and then split-up at the University. I am bikeless for now. Perhaps I can change that by next riding season. The riding "bug" is starting again, but I have obligated myself to some house spending this year...so money isn't really available for a bike right now. Take care and ride safely.

I paid 6k for an '02 with 20k, tires had 500 miles on them and BMW serviced. Bike color is red metalic. This is where I would expect the bike to be priced.

Chris...thanks a bunch!! It was nice meeting you. The ride back was pretty nice, except the wind was brutal, I was gettin battered and beaten like a red headed stepchild. Got hit by the rain about 50miles from home, but overall not too bad. =D>
See, I told you guys, half the time I dont know what I'm talking about.
