Side Cases R and GS

Post by dnat928 »

Does anyone know if the side cases from an R1150R will fit on a R1150GS?

They should be a straight fit.

Not if you have the side case rails that incorporate the rear rack.

Yes, the side cases will fit. The system cases are identical. The rails on the bikes they connect to however are different.

A&S BMW has a great microfiche catalog available online to check out such things.

Are you sure about that? I have the GS bags & mounting rails on my 'R, and they fit fine. I thought they were interchangeable. :-k
