Newbie in CA

Hi All,

Thanks for the great advice. This is a lot like the Chain Gang web site for my F650's. I'm rebuilding them right now so the '96 R850R is my daily ride. I bought the bike in March and have put on almost 3K miles. I would have tagged on somemore but I couldn't ride for three months. So far, I've added a Givi top case and the tach/clock set. Oh yea, it came with a Corbin saddle

My first one. WOW! More farkle to follow. Thanks for all the input.

Hey, seadog. Jealous of you right now. My daily ride right now has 4 wheels - as we've been in a deep freeze for the past month here in MN. I'd love to see a photo of your R850R with the Corbin!

Ask and you shall receive. Sorry to hear about the weather. We don't have much of the freeze stuff here. But we do have year round traffic.

Seat looks great - seems closer to stock than the Sargent.

What's with the valve covers? Were they painted? Beautiful bike, looks to be in nice shape!
