Mystery eBay fairing - Parabellum?

I bought, but haven't yet paid for, this fairing on eBay yesterday. It looks like a Parabellum to me, probably from an older airhead Boxer.

I'm curious about the screens shown though, as the listing states that it includes "a 21" tinted windshield" - it looks to me like three different screens in the pics below though ...

Left to right, I can't decide if they're the same or different, the angles are tricky:

#1 looks like a shorty
#2 looks like a 21" to me, and the one I'd want (to cut down)
#3 is a big ole tourer screen surely?

Grateful for any advice. It may turn out to be a disaster, but I think I'll have some fun with the Dremmel, spraying it black and making some DIY brackets.

(Then I'll kick myself & stump up the full asking for the new one I should've ordered last year ...)

That is the parabellun scout, I think it is the same as the one on my 2002 R1150R. It looks like the angles are different, making the screen appear to be different sizes. No need for the dremel,it should mount right on with out modification. If the screen is too tall you can cut it down with a bandsaw,but put a block under the curve to keep pressure from the saw blade collapsing the curved surface. Then sand till smooth.

Do you have a picture of your bike with the fairing on we could see? I know one of the guys here has a mini-collection of R / Parabellum photos, but I haven't searched for the thread again yet.

RapidRobert's bike is so close to mine in details that I had to have a second look. I also painted the rear shelf Atlanta Blue. These bikes look sort of retro with the R90S like fairing, but these actually work!

Ahh, but not MY bike pictured in the album. There are actually 3 different bikes pictured; I saved the picts which were posted here over the past few years because I liked the look of the Parabellum fairing, and I kept looking at other's bikes to remind that they looked so good that I really need to get off my duff and get one of them ordered. Sorry for the confusion.

The bike in the pictures with painted full size city bags, solo Russell seat, low muffler, was my bike. It burned down in a garage/workshop fire. Some things, like full size bags with Atlanta Blue city and standard lids, muffler lowering kit, and other stuff were not on the bike in the fire and will be for sale when I have time to take pictures and advertise.

Shame about your bike, Paul. I always thought it was a real looker, that's why I saved the picts of it you posted a few times. I keep looking back at it and say to myself, "Gotta get me one of them Parabellum Scout fairings, so my bike will look like Paul's..." Yep, just a darn shame about that bike. Hope nobody got injured in the fire.

Screen arrived today in a huge box from the US - that's probably what attracted HM Customs interest & a bill for Ã‚Â£48 / $100 ... Ho hum, can probably get some of that back.

Anyway, it's from an older Airhead as anticipated, so it will need some cutting to fit onto my bike. Having studied all the photos more closely now, it turns out the modern 1150 era Parabellum Scouts have an additional cutout for the indicators ("turn signals"), whilst mine is like the black & white photo above (that bike has lowered indicators that I didn't notice before

)

It'll keep me busy cutting, fitting, rubbing down & re-painting though. Overall quite pleased so far!

It now fits. Forgotten how much I love going to the hardware store & fitting new shiny nuts & bolts on anything ...

Some work to do at back mind ...

Looks like a good job in progress. I would have been tempted to lower the indicators into the holes on the screen. Look forwatrd to seeing the finished article.
