I also posted this on another board, but thought maybe some of you would have ideas.
First, I don't want this thread to turn into the whole charcoal canister removal pros and cons thread. I'm trying to find out if anybody has relocated their canister and if they did, did they do it using somebody's kit, or did they simply do themselves. This is for my wife's 1150R. I removed the BMW luggage carriers and put on the SW Motech bag carriers, but they require part of the space being used by the canister. I want to relocate the canister, but can't find an ideal location on the R. Anybody have any ideas?
FYI, somebody in an older thread mentioned ztechnik offering a relocation kit, but I can't seem to find any info on it, so I'm not sure it is being offered any longer.

About halfway down are some photos of Cyclerob's cannister relocation. I followed his guide and did mine also, placing it under the gas tank as well. If you have ABS this won't work. The space is already filled.
I simply placed it up under there at a similar angle it was before, and made a couple of brackets out of spare parts and nuts and bolts. I guess its working. I haven't noticed any gas smells in the garage.

You betcha..So...you Aussies are responsible for global warming. I knew it!!
We just have a little black cap on that tube from the injectors...I am running a balance tube from one side to the other...and it seems to work.
The only smells I get are....are...are...er...you don't want to know..
..but if you are riding behind me and you notice me lean to one side while riding straight..you'd be better off changing lanes..
The Canister does nothing..IMO..
