Bright works on mine, 2003 r with SM....BUT have read that running with the bright will have a heat related failure and loose bulb socket! Hence I run on low and remember how to shut it down if the police stop me because of the running light color?

I eliminated my bulb...used leds from Ebay...works great!

Darn ya....I too am over 50 yrs of riding and am feeling my age...trying to remove all mirrors in the house. Wife had a hip replacement 2 yrs back and still rides but not as much. I run 20w-50 in my r1150r...and am at 50k...so far no problems. Being an old farm boy, I change oil at 3k and save it for the old tractor...hehehe.

You know, I was a sceptic...but damn I like the look. Who did the flat black?

My only question is: if the oil system to the coolers is thermostat controlled...why the towels? What am I missing here? If we dont make operating temp, the thermo doesnt open and allow oil to the coolers. Sri to be an arse...
